How does it work?
This savings opportunity at RightSourceRx is built into many Humana prescription drug plans, and is offered during certain stages of the plan. Each plan type is different, so be sure to check your plan coverage for details.

Example – 2010 Humana Complete PDP
In the 2010 plan year, Humana Complete PDP members pay $0 copayments for Tier 1 (preferred generics) from RightSourceRx during Initial Coverage and also during the Coverage Gap. During Catastrophic Coverage, members will pay the greater of - a $2.50 copayment or 5% coinsurance - for a Tier 1 (preferred generic) drug from RightSourceRx.

The stages of the Humana Complete PDP are called: Initial Coverage, Coverage Gap, and Catastrophic Coverage. The Initial Coverage stage is calculated based on "total drug costs" for the year - including what you paid and what your plan (Humana) paid. The Coverage Gap stage is calculated based on your "total-out-of-pocket costs" - that is, only what you pay. This includes drug out of pocket expenses you paid during the initial coverage stage. You will enter the final stage, Catastrophic Coverage, once your total out-of-pocket prescription costs reach $4550.
What if the drug I am taking is not a Tier 1 (preferred generic)?
RightSourceRx offers additional savings opportunities for drugs that are in other tiers, when compared to non-preferred mail-order pharmacies. For example, Humana Complete PDP members also save at RightSourceRx for drugs that are in Tier 2 and Tier 3, when compared to a non-preferred mail-order pharmacy*.
